Harvested from hillsides shrouded in mist, Green tea has been a beverage favoured by the Chinese over the centuries. 75% of its production is destined for the internal market. In the West, where Black tea has been more familiar, the subtle flavours and numerous beneficial characteristics of Green tea have now been discovered. This tea is non-fermented and is treated directly and rapidly after picking, thus allowing the taste and active elements to stay close to the plant in its natural state.
