Our selection of P'uh-Êhr Tea

This ancestral family of tea distinguishes itself by a typical earthy taste. It takes its name from a town in the south of the province of Yunnan.

The Chinese consider P'uh-ehr to be the true Black tea because, during its preparation, its leaves are fermented (without oxigen) several times over a period of a few days. This tea is prized for its medicinal virtues (see separate chapter).

Contrary to other groups, this tea ages well and improves with time. It can be stored for several years. Only stored P'uh-Êhr Tea is of good quality.

We present our P'uh-ehr teas in loose leaf (Imperial Pavilion) or compressed into brick form (Fan Cha)or birds nest (Little Bird's Nest). All are old of at least several years.
